What is a recall, really?
A recall means the government made the manufacturer admit a safety defect — and the fix is free at any dealer, forever, even for used cars. What's wrong: Winnebago Industries, Inc. (Winnebago) is recalling certain 2020-2024 Era, View and Navion recreational vehicles. The retractable awning may extend unintentionally during transit.
The danger: An awning extending unintentionally during transit may become a distraction or road hazard, increasing the risk of a crash.
The fix: Dealers will install a parking brake interlock module, and update the awning firmware, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed May 2, 2024. Owners may contact Winnebago customer service at 1-641-585-6936 or 1-800-537-1885. Winnebago's number for this recall is 179. This recall supersedes and expands NHTSA recall 22V-695.

What's wrong: Winnebago Industries, Inc. (Winnebago) is recalling certain 2017-2025 Revel, 2020-2025 Navion, Porto, View, Vita, 2022-2023 Adventure Van, and 2024-2025 Ekko motorhomes. Supplemental Restraint System (SRS) wires can be caught in the seat mechanism when the driver or passenger seats are adjusted.
The danger: Damaged wires can prevent air bags from deploying in a crash, increasing the risk of injury.
The fix: Dealers will inspect and re-route the wiring, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed June 26, 2024. Owners may contact Winnebago customer service at 1-641-585-6939 or 1-800-537-1885. Winnebago's number for this recall is 185.

What's wrong: Winnebago Industries, Inc. (Winnebago) is recalling certain 2020-2024 Winnebago View and Navion recreational vehicles equipped with certain Lippert Metallarte door assemblies. The door assembly may have been manufactured with incorrect window adhesion, causing the window to loosen or detached.
The danger: A window that detaches during transit can become a road hazard, increasing the risk of a crash.
The fix: Dealers will install clips to secure the window to the door as necessary, free of charge. An interim owner letter was mailed December 20, 2024. A second notice will be mailed once the final remedy is available. Owners may contact Winnebago customer service at 1-800-537-1885. Winnebago's number for this recall is 191.

What's wrong: Winnebago Industries, Inc. (Winnebago) is recalling certain 2024-2026 Spirit, Minnie Winnie, Travato, View, Navion, and 2026-2027 Sunflyer, 2021-2026 Commercial vehicle, and 2023-2026 425 Commercial shell motorhomes equipped with a ThermaHeat Tank Pad. The water tank heating pad may experience high resistance and fail.
The danger: A heating pad failure can increase the risk of a fire.
The fix: Dealers will install a new water tank heating pad, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed March 16, 2026. Owners may contact Winnebago customer service at 1-641-585-6939 or 1-800-537-1885. Winnebago's number for this recall is 201.
