What's wrong: Nissan North America, Inc. (Nissan) is recalling certain 2024 Titan, Frontier, Infiniti QX60, Pathfinder, 2023-2024 Sentra, Versa, Kicks, Infiniti QX50, and 2023 Rogue vehicles. Due to a manufacturing issue, the driver's air bag inflator may absorb moisture, and cause the air bag to deploy improperly.
The danger: An air bag that deploys improperly may not protect the driver as intended during a crash, increasing the risk of injury.
The fix: Dealers will replace the front driver's air bag assembly, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed April 10, 2024. Owners may contact Nissan customer service at 1-800-867-7669. Nissan's numbers for this recall are PD103, PD104, and PMA34.

What's wrong: Nissan North America, Inc. (Nissan) is recalling certain 2024 Sentra vehicles. The front left-side driveshaft may not be fully seated in the continuously variable transmission (CVT) assembly, or may have a loose or missing retaining clip, which can cause a transmission fluid leak and loss of drive power.
The danger: An unexpected loss of drive power can increase the risk of a crash.
The fix: Dealers will inspect the front left driveshaft, and if necessary, replace the driveshaft and CVT assembly, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed June 26, 2024. Owners may contact Nissan customer service at 1-800-867-7669. Nissan's number for this recall is PMA37.

What's wrong: Nissan North America, Inc. (Nissan) is recalling certain 2024 Nissan Sentra vehicles. The windshield may have air bubbles on the front lower driver's side, which can obscure the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN). As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 205, "Glazing Materials."
The danger: An owner who cannot see their VIN clearly may not recognize their vehicle is involved in a safety recall, and may not have the recall remedy performed, which could increase the risk of injury, fire, or a crash.
The fix: Dealers will inspect and replace the windshield as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed August 29, 2024. Owners may contact Nissan customer service at 1-800-867-7669. Nissan's number for this recall is PMA38.

In December 2025, the vehicle was towed to the dealer after it shut off and would not restart. No warning lights displayed, no low fuel light displayed either. Dealer attributed stall to low fuel (fuel range showed 30 miles remaining), found no diagnostic codes, attributed it to low fuel, added gas, and released the vehicle and charged a DX fee. In February 2026 (approximately two months later), the vehicle lost power again while being driven and was rear-ended while disabled. Post-collision dash photos show approximately half a tank of fuel and malfunction indicators illuminated. The dealership had notice of a shutdown event and failed to properly diagnose or investigate before returning the vehicle as safe in December. My daughter was injured as a result of the rear end accident. The vehicle was a total loss.
To the best of my knowledg The front LH drive shaft came off the transaxle case leaving me no power of steering or breaking forcing me into the center divider. if this happened on a freeway driving speed limit or a busy street the accident would be fatal. Problem has been confirmed by Nissan themselves the year and make of my car has been recalled for this issue. A few days prior I did smell oil burning and was going to the issue looked at at the dealership unfortunately this accident or malfunction happened. There was no police report but the police did show up to make sure I was okay and they called the tow company affiliated with the department so I believe there's some record of it but no actual police report was made because I didn't feel that it was needed because no one was involved other than myself.

The contact stated that while driving approximately 55 MPH over a rumble strip later, there was an abnormally loud sound coming from the front of the vehicle, and the steering wheel suddenly failed, causing the vehicle to lose directional control. The vehicle veered to the right, crossed multiple lanes before stopping on a gravel shudder. Upon exiting and inspecting the vehicle, the contact noticed that both the two front wheels were towed inward at approximately a 40-degree angle. The vehicle was later towed to the rental car company. The cause of the failure was unknown. No further information was available. The manufacturer was not contacted. The failure mileage was 37,040. The VIN was not available.
The front passenger wheel turned out at a 45degree angle while going straight at 40mph causing loss of control and turning the car right into a curb. After looking the ball joint separated from the control arm
Vehicle has front axle clicking sounds when turning right or left. It also makes clicking sounds when driving over bumps or entering driveways(uneven concrete surfaces). I brought it to a Nissan Dealership several times and they acknowledged the issue. However, they have not been able to resolve the issue.

I had this car for seven months and in June 13,2024 car failed and caused accident.Prior to the accident the car was shutting off in traffic .Then June 13,2024 caused accident when going to work Car lost control due to computer issues.My vehicle camera and reporter recorded the whole thing and my foot was on break all way to accident.State farm insurance has a recorder and was shown. I'm reporting that before crash air bags sprayed out steam and burnt my arm.The airbags failed to deploy.When car was bounced on flate bed truck they deployed,not until then I was injured with burnt face and arm and cut knee. Please acknowledge to Nissan. I told them but they didn't report issue or investigated. The Nissan central have tie rod problems.

For the past 6 weeks my car has abruptly stopped. No forwarding, no lights. All of which occurred during heavily moving traffic putting myself and others in grave danger. Due to my quick thinking and CDL training I was able to redirect traffic until I was able to move to safety. I have had my battery jumped at least 4 times within one week. I had it tested multiple times and it shows no issues. Only at Nissan did they say it could be the battery but not sure. Also no lights came on. My car has been maintenanced on time. This issue is very scary. This is my only means of transportation and serves as my designated vehicle for employment as well. Although there's no recall showing there's definitely an underlying issue that needs to be addressed and I'd hate to have that happen after a fatality or serious injury happens. My vehicle is only a little over a year old this shouldn't be happening. Please advise as to how this issue can be resolved and at little or no cost to me as I was informed that my car is in great condition aside from the major issue that I mentioned. I have almost been reared eneded and also almost did the same to others. There was also a time recently I drove thr6a bank drive through and immediately afterwards my car shut down and I had to get help. Please help me resolve this situation as it to me is high priority. The Bluetooth system consistently malfunctions with detaching from the Internet while listening to music When making hard left after washing car there’s a loud rubbing sound emitting from the undercarriage on the left side

Front axel damaged. Loud clicking, popping noise in both directions. Damaged axles are very dangerous. My car is now at Nissan for the 2nd time in less than a week. The front axle was replaced last week. It is now being replaced again. The active grille shutter also had to be replaced last week.

I am submitting this complaint regarding what I believe is a premature paint system failure on my 2024 Nissan Sentra (VIN: [XXX]). At approximately 30,000 miles, the paint on the rear bumper and the front hood has developed extensive chipping and peeling that appears excessive for a vehicle of this age and mileage. While some stone chips are expected during normal driving, the extent and severity of the paint failure suggest the factory paint system may not have been properly applied. The damaged areas appear to have little or no visible primer beneath the paint, indicating what I believe may be poor paint adhesion, inadequate primer application, or an insufficient clear coat. The paint chips away very easily, exposing the underlying surface. I initially brought the vehicle to Loyalty Nissan in Short Pump, Virginia. Because that dealership does not have a collision or paint repair facility, I was referred to Hyman Brothers Nissan in Midlothian, Virginia for evaluation. During my discussions at Hyman Brothers, I was verbally informed by the dealership's paint technician that the condition appeared consistent with either an insufficient amount of hardener in the paint, an excessively thin clear coat, or both. Based on my own observations, I also believe the primer may not have been properly applied because little or no primer is visible where the paint has chipped away. However, these observations were not included in the dealership's written documentation. I opened a case with Nissan Consumer Affairs requesting warranty coverage. My claim was denied based solely on photographs submitted for review. I do not believe the concerns raised by the dealership personnel regarding the apparent quality of the factory paint application were fully considered during Nissan's review. Good morning. I wanted to make you aware of a potential safety concern with the 2024 Sentra. The ECO button is very close to the trunk open button, and on 2 separate occasions, I have accidentally opened my trunk instead of switching to eco mode while driving. Luckily, at the time of these incidents, I was traveling at a relatively low speed and able to quickly pull over. But this could be quite dangerous if it happened on the interstate or other major highway at higher speed and if there are items inside the trunk that could fall out. It seems like common sense that the trunk should remain locked and unable to open while the vehicle is in drive.
Two times in the past month my gas pedal has gotten stuck after I fully engaged it getting on the highway. Both times I had to hit the brakes and kick at the gas pedal a few times for it to disengage. This problem doesn’t always happen, as I’ve tried to do it on purpose to see if it would do it again. Not sure it it could possibly have anything to do with snow/ice or salt accumulation on outside of vehicle, as it is winter time In Massachusetts. This could have led to a bad accident injuring both myself and others, luckily I managed to break the gas pedal free both times. The problem happened two separate times. I have not brought it up to the dealer but will soon on my next service appointment. Vehicle and component hasn’t been inspected for this problem yet. There were no warning lamps, messages or symptoms. They first appeared about a month ago (mid January 2026), and happened again first week of February 2026
Sometimes when stopped at a light and turning onto another street the car loses acceleration. The cars power does not shut off but causes a delay in the acceleration when turning or accelerating. I brought my vehicle to the dealership and they test drove it and hooked it up to the coding machine and said no codes came up and there isn’t a recall. However I looked and it said there is a recall on certain 2024 nissan sentra sv models as shown here - Driveshaft Separation (NHTSA 24V304000): The front left-side driveshaft may not be fully seated, or a retaining clip may be missing, causing a sudden loss of drive power and increasing the risk of a crash. Something is definitely wrong this has happened at least 10 times since I’ve had the vehicle.
I recently bought a 2024 nissan sentra sv premium used with 9,000 miles previous owner before me stated car would not accelerate at time after coming to a complete stop and dealership fixed the issue which was the brake switch I recently had the same issue around 15,000 miles and they said it the brake switch again, So I started searching online for similar incidents and it seems pretty common in older models but no one seems to state anything about the brake switch so I dont know if it is just a temporary fix as it happened to the previous owner 6-7k miles ago on my car and now happening again on a brand new car. please look into this

I was getting my Brakes done and realized i have no rear brakes on the right and left. I was told i can not speak to anyone higher up until Monday.
1) While driving at 35 MPH with cruise control on, upon approaching an intersection with a red traffic light on, pushing the brake did not affect the vehicle at all. After going through the red light (divided roadway at intersection) and making a fast-moving right turn, pressing the engine ON button had no effect. Hard depressing the emergency/parking brake pedal eventually stopped the vehicle. There was no floor mat interference (the mat was securely hooked onto the retaining hooks). 2) The driver's side door would not open when the mechanical lever was pulled; even mutiple times. The only way to exit the vehicle was by pushing the electronic door unlock button. Additional testing indicated that the driver's side door would never open using the mechanical opening handle when the vehicle doors had been electrically locked. In a panic situation, or if the electrical system had failed, this situation could trap a person inside the vehicle.

I have a 2024 Nissan Sentra SV that I have leased brand new since January 2023. As of today, 10/28/2025 I have only 14,605 miles on this vehicle. I drive local only, no highways yet the tires are completely bald and needed to be replaced. The tire pressure would only hold 27. They were a road hazard. I could not drive to the dealership, Jenkins Nissan in Leesburg Florida due to the condition of the tires and it was raining. I had to replace all 4 tires at the expense of $890.00 not to mention the time I lost from work to have these replaced. These tires were under warranty. Boulevard Tire in Lady Lake, Florida has the tires. They will be submitting the information you need. I did call Hankook today, 10/28/2025 to start the claim. This vehicle has only 14k miles so how is it possible they were so dangerous and bad. I expect to get a full refund. Hankook is giving me a hard time about the warranty because I didn't replace with the same tires. I couldn't drive more than 2 miles and made it Boulevard Tire for help. They have the tires and it have photos. No tires should never wear like that with that kind of mileage and only local driving, no highway driving. I'll attach photos. The claim #[XXX] I supplied Hankook with the regular scheduled tire rotations reports and invoices to prove they were completed on the vehicle. Started having problems within first two months of purchase, bought new in April 24. Charge ports stopped working. Also reported to dealer electric burn smell. Hesitate to start/stop with push button. Feels like loses power while driving. Rpms revs unexpectedly. Almost wrecked a few times due to this. Happens during continuous driving, not stop and go traffic. Sometimes when put in park, it will jerk hard. Sometimes when put in park and turn off, doors don’t unlock automatically. Car will jerk when starting at times. Forward collision light comes on often. Sounds like front rotors or something in the front rubs while driving. Auto engine off/on sometimes doesn’t work. The first time I took it to the dealer, they didn’t record their visual inspection. They blamed a lot of stuff on rodent nests. The second time I took it to the dealership, I made it a point to have the visual inspection recorded and sent to me. Surprise, no rodent nests found! Both inspections were completed in less than two hours even though I told them I could stay as long as needed. Since then, the burning smell has worsened.

The front splash guard on my vehicle detached twice under normal driving conditions due to a design flaw in the fasteners. The splash guard is secured with plastic push pins and a single screw, which are not strong enough to withstand common road conditions such as standing water or wind pressure. The first incident occurred when my wife drove through an unseen puddle during heavy rain, which immediately tore the entire splash guard off. The vehicle had to be towed to Victory Nissan for repair. The dealership reattached the splash guard using plastic fasteners and one screw, but did not replace the damaged part. The same issue occurred again because once the splash guard is cracked or weakened, it catches wind and detaches easily. When this happens, the large 4x5 ft. piece of plastic can fly off on the freeway, creating a serious danger to both the vehicle occupants and other drivers. Victory Nissan has been unresponsive in resolving this safety issue. Despite being told the service manager would follow up, I received no calls back after multiple attempts and long hold times. When I finally retrieved my vehicle, the issue had not been properly repaired—only more plastic fasteners were used. This is a significant safety hazard that should be investigated. A splash guard of this size detaching at highway speeds poses a serious risk of property damage or injury.
1) While driving at 35 MPH with cruise control on, upon approaching an intersection with a red traffic light on, pushing the brake did not affect the vehicle at all. After going through the red light (divided roadway at intersection) and making a fast-moving right turn, pressing the engine ON button had no effect. Hard depressing the emergency/parking brake pedal eventually stopped the vehicle. There was no floor mat interference (the mat was securely hooked onto the retaining hooks). 2) The driver's side door would not open when the mechanical lever was pulled; even mutiple times. The only way to exit the vehicle was by pushing the electronic door unlock button. Additional testing indicated that the driver's side door would never open using the mechanical opening handle when the vehicle doors had been electrically locked. In a panic situation, or if the electrical system had failed, this situation could trap a person inside the vehicle.

My wife who was driving had stopped at a pedestrian crosswalk behind another car that had stopped to allow people to cross. While we were stopped a GMC truck plowed into the rear of our car at a high rate of speed. Police, fire, and an ambulance were called to the seen. The occupant driving the truck was ticked for driving to close and taking his eyes off the road. My wife and I suffered injuries because the airbags did not deploy. She had a leg contusion, arm, neck, back, injuries whiplash, and an erratic heart rhythm. I suffered a mild concussion from hitting the windshield causing a severe nose bleed and whiplash. We spent 4 hrs. in the Middlesex ER in Westbrook CT. I was given a CATSCAN and my wife two EKGs. We are both scheduled for follow-up visits with our primary care Doctors as well as Physical Rehab Therapy. The driver of the GMC had coverage and at present my car is at Grossman's Auto Body Repair located in Old Saybrook, CT. They are waiting for the appraiser from U.S.S.A insurance to arrive.
I had this car for seven months and in June 13,2024 car failed and caused accident.Prior to the accident the car was shutting off in traffic .Then June 13,2024 caused accident when going to work Car lost control due to computer issues.My vehicle camera and reporter recorded the whole thing and my foot was on break all way to accident.State farm insurance has a recorder and was shown. I'm reporting that before crash air bags sprayed out steam and burnt my arm.The airbags failed to deploy.When car was bounced on flate bed truck they deployed,not until then I was injured with burnt face and arm and cut knee. Please acknowledge to Nissan. I told them but they didn't report issue or investigated. The Nissan central have tie rod problems.

In December 2025, the vehicle was towed to the dealer after it shut off and would not restart. No warning lights displayed, no low fuel light displayed either. Dealer attributed stall to low fuel (fuel range showed 30 miles remaining), found no diagnostic codes, attributed it to low fuel, added gas, and released the vehicle and charged a DX fee. In February 2026 (approximately two months later), the vehicle lost power again while being driven and was rear-ended while disabled. Post-collision dash photos show approximately half a tank of fuel and malfunction indicators illuminated. The dealership had notice of a shutdown event and failed to properly diagnose or investigate before returning the vehicle as safe in December. My daughter was injured as a result of the rear end accident. The vehicle was a total loss.

UPON RECENT DISCOVERY TUESDAY EVENING 11.11.2025; I PLACED THE VEHICLE IN REVERSE AND PROCEEDED TO BACK UP AND THEN PUT INTO DRIVE, UPON TAKING OFF MY VEHICLE JERKED AND MADE A LOUD GRINDING/STRUGGLING NOISE. I COULD HEAR THE MACHINERY. DURING MY COMMUTE, THIS WOULD HAPPEN INTERMITTENTLY UNTIL REACHING MY DESTINATION. MY CAR FELT AS IF IT WAS GOING TO STALL AND CUT OFF. THE NOISE IS LOUD AND VERY NOTICEABLE. I COULD FEEL THE VIBRATIONS UNDERNEATH ME. TODAY IS THURSDAY AND THE ISSUE PERSISTS. I'VE PLACED A CALLED TO THE LOCAL DEALERSHIP TO HAVE MY VEHICLE INSPECTED.

The contact owns a 2024 Nissan Sentra equipped with Hankook Tires, Tire Line: Kinergy GT with Kontrol Technology, Tire Sizes(Rear): P205/60/R16, DOT Number: (N/A). The contact stated that upon inspection of the tires, the rear tires tread were almost bald. The contact stated that the tires were rotated; however, the tires started to experience the same failure at approximately 20,000 miles. The tires were the original tires. The local dealer was contacted. The vehicle manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The tire manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The tire failure mileage was approximately 15,000 and the vehicle failure mileage was 13,500.
